Egyptian Fayoum handmade large soap dish

Traditional methods such as ancient enamelling techniques and local materials such as clay from the Nile Valley in Aswan are used to create beautiful pottery. Each piece is  handcrafted and hand painted by artisan potters in the small oasis village of Tunis in Fayoum. 

In a useful larger size, this dish is perfect for use in the kitchen, boot room or bathroom. Can be used as a soap dish or tray. Fits two small size or one large sized soap. 

Hand thrown earthenware- width 13cm , length 21cm. 

Not dishwasher safe, hand wash in warm water.
